Psalm 63:2-8

Our responsorial psalm for this week comes from Psalm 63, traditionally attributed to King David during his time in the wilderness of Judah. It expresses a profound longing for God’s presence, particularly in the sanctuary.

It provides a fitting response to our first reading’s encouragement to seek divine wisdom, expressing the deep longing for God that inspires the faithful to seek him continually.
